2010 "Friend of Youth"

GOLF TOURNAMENT

October 4, 2010

The Optimist Club of San Antonio has been helping youth in need in San Antonio since it’s founding in 1924. One of our major fund raisers is our Friend of Youth Golf Tournament which will be held October 4, 2010.

2009 "Friend of Youth"

GOLF TOURNAMENT

October 12, 2009

After the one week rain delay, the Optimist Club of San Antonio’s “Friend of Youth” Golf Tournament was held October 12, 2009 at The Club at Sonterra. A total of 87 players enjoyed a pleasant afternoon and a beautiful course. A great day and a great cause made it even more worthwhile.

Winners were recognized at the wonderful awards dinner, catered once again this year by Outback.  Howard Kasanoff also took home the coveted Thiesen Orange Jacket for High Club Score at the Golf Tournament
